Prerequisite
Screwdriver (type depends on the bolts used by the installer)
Removal Process
1. Shutdown TigerMX-5 via Monitor
If the system is currently online follow the 'Shutdown' section of this guide to turn off the TigerMX-5 correctly.
2. Turn off Power
Ensure the vehicle is turned off at the Ignition.
Ensure any secondary source of power is also turned off i.e. Battery Isolator.
3. Disconnect cables
Disconnect the ISO connector (if you haven't already) and wait 1 minute before continuing. This allows the system adequate time to shutdown correctly.
Disconnect the BATT connector.
Disconnect the rest of the connectors - no specific order.

Remove connectors using only the textured grip, never the cable itself.
4. Remove USB devices
Take note of what USB device is where so we can put them back into the same port when reinstalling.
5. Remove the TigerMX-5
Once all cables have been disconnected remove the 4 screws holding it in place.
Take note of which holes in the chassis have the screws as the Tiger will fit much better if refitted with the same holes.
6. Remove the SIM Card
To remove the SIM card push the SIM down into the SIM Slot until there's a click, then release and the SIM card will pop up.

You may need to use a pen or screwdriver to push it down just a fraction further.
Install Process
1. Install the SIM Card into replacement TigerMX-5
To install the SIM card ensure the the diagonal corner is facing down and to the right as pictured (the contacts should be facing the other way.
Push the SIM into the SIM Slot press down until it clicks into place.

You may need to use a pen or screwdriver to push it down just a fraction further.
2. Install the TigerMX-5
Reconnect any USB devices.
Connect all cables apart from the BATT and ISO connectors.

One monitor install?
Connect to DISP2, this shows the camera feed. Only connect to DISP1 if the installation has 2 monitors.
Connect the BATT connector.
Connect the ISO connector.
3. Turn on Power
With everything connected we can now turn on the vehicle and the system should power on.
4. Check Monitor Settings
Ensure the monitor is showing a green Data Signal icon and a green GPS icon on the top banner:
