Before anything please note: NO TAR XZ
When updating from 1.0.1 to 1.2.0 do not upload a tar file, it cannot be read and will brick the system.
eg.
uImage-jjr-dvr-atlas_v1.2.0-21-g1c1d693.tar.xz

Only use this manual method if Universe is not able to update the system itself.
Pre-requisite
Google Chrome - We recommend this as it allows downloads to be displayed in percentage values.
The following firmware files, ask the developers for these.
If updating from 1.0.1
uImage-jjr-dvr-atlas_v1.2.0-21-g1c1d693
uImage-jjr-camera-atlas-camera_v1.2.0-21-g1c1d693
If updating from 1.2.0
uImage-jjr-dvr-atlas.tar.xz
uImage-jjr-camera-atlas-camera.tar.xz

Updating 'Atlas Camera Linux' requires file 'uImage-jjr-camera-atlas-camera_v1.2.0-21-g1c1d693'
Once selected the file will be populated, now click 'Submit'
A new window will open when complete. Click 'Back to Firmware'.
Now update 'Atlas Camera Linux' in the same way using 'uImage-jjr-camera-atlas-camera_v1.2.0-21-g1c1d693'.
Reboot
Once both files of firmware have been successfully uploaded the system willl need a reboot for them to be active.
It's safe to not reboot, no changes have been made to the running system, the update will only take affect after a reboot.
Updating from 1.2.0
The same as updating from 1.0.1 but the file names are different.
There we changes so now tar.xz files can now be handled to speed up the transfer and also the file name no longer requires the firmware version in the name.
ie. 'uImage-jjr-dvr-atlas_v1.2.0-21-g1c1d693' is now 'uImage-jjr-dvr-atlas
