System


About This Page

This page provides the system information of a Tiger unit. It also enables the user to request a firmware update for the unit..

Page View




Page Usage

To request a firmware update select the Check for Updates from dropdown and select the source.
Select Available Firmware to choose the desired firmware package to be applied.
If an installation media was used, press the eject button  to enable safe removal of the device



General


About This Page

This page is used to make changes to general settings including:
  1. Show Seconds
  2. Voltage Slider
  3. Allow high speed to effect UI
  4. Slow Speed Threshold
  5. Disable video display in high speed mode

Page View




Page Usage

  1. Press the Show Seconds switch button to toggle whether the clock displays seconds.
  2. Press and drag the green Voltage Slider to change the low voltage warning threshold.
  3. Press the Allow high speed to effect UI switch button to toggle whether high speed mode can change or lock UI.
  4. Press and drag the green Slow Speed Threshold slider to change the speed which is considered low speed mode.
  5. Press the Disable video display in high speed mode to halt video display when in high speed mode


Health


About This Page

This page shows a complete list of the health indicators of the unit.
Health Indicators are used primarily by support to diagnose issues with the vehicle. A comprehensive list of definitions is currently being created for other users.

Page Usage

Press the drop down to show a list of views. Select the desired default view.



Voice


About This Page

This page provides settings for voice memos attached to snapshots.

Page View




Page Usage

Press and drag the sliders to adjust the corresponding setting.

Voice Recording Settings

Duration controls the length of the voice recording.
Volume controls how loud the recording will be.



GPIO


About This Page

This page enables the user to toggle toolbar visibility and change labels of various inputs.

Page Usage
Press the switch button to show GPI status in the Toolbar.
Tap a white field to reveal a keyboard and edit the name of the corresponding input. Dismiss the keyboard by pressing the return key.



GSM

This page provides details about the GSM services and allows users to configure the APN being used to connect to a network.

GSM Settings

GSM Config allows APN to be selected
The APN is determined by the SIM card used. Please only change this if it is knowingly incorrect.

GSM Information

Shows status and configuration details about the configured APN.



GPS


About This Page

This page provides information related to the system's GPS.

Page Usage

See the various stats and info related to GPS from this view.

GPS Information

  1. Mode shows an enumerated value of the GPS fix type.
    1. No Fix
    2. 2D Fix
    3. 3D Fix
  2. Satellites is the number of active satellites
  3. Longitude provides longitudinal data
  4. Latitude provides latitudinal data
  5. Altitude provides altitudinal data 
  6. Speed information provides speed data in both m/s and kph
  7. Time provides date and time information as well as timezone.
  8. EPH provides information about the ephemeris.



Bluetooth


This page requires an external Bluetooth dongle

Page Usage

Bluetooth

Shows information about currently connected device (Name and Address).

Connected Devices

Shows previously connected devices.

Discovered Devices

Shows a list of discovered devices (with option to scan).



Wi-Fi

This page provides details about Wi-Fi connections and controls for managing them.

Page Usage

WIFI Status

Shows the status of the current Wi-Fi connection
  1. Running - Shows if there is an active Wi-Fi connection
  2. SSID - Name of the current Wi-Fi access point
  3. Broadcast - Shows whether the device is currently broadcasting
  4. Address - Assigned IP address
  5. Channel - Channel number

Wifi Settings

Configures the Wi-Fi connection settings
  1. SSID - Name of Wi-Fi access point
  2. Broadcast - Toggle broadcasting
  3. Password - Password for Wi-Fi access point
  4. Action - Start / Stop / Restart connection



USB


This page is only useful for Tigers equipped with Atom modules

About This Page

This page is used to reroute USB devices to either the Atlas or Atom modules. Changes to USB routing persist after reboot/shutdown.
If a Tiger system is replaced, these changes will need to be re-applied.

Touchscreen



About This Page

This page provides options for calibrating the touchscreen.

Main Page


Calibrate Touchscreen



Page Usage

From the Main Page (default), there are two options:
  1. Press CALIBRATE TOUCHSCREEN to start the Calibrate Touchscreen utility.
  2. Press RESET CALIBRATION to remove calibration settings and return to default.

Calibrate Touchscreen

Crosshairs will appear in each corner of the screen. Press each crosshair to calibrate the touchscreen.



Extras


This is specific functionality that is only required for certain vehicle setups, ignore if you are unsure.

This page provides various power controls for the unit. The following actions can be taken:
  1. Reboot
  2. Restart GUI
  3. Turn Off POE 
  4. Turn On POE 
  5. Reset Atom

Page Usage

Use this page to employ various power-related controls:
  1. Reboot - Reboots the entire Tiger unit
  2. Restart GUI - Restart the atlasgui service only.
  3. Turn Off POE - Disables Power Over Ethernet, shutting down any device using this interface (eg. cameras).
  4. Turn On POE - Enables Power Over Ethernet, providing power to devices using this interface (eg. cameras).
  5. Reset Atom - For Tiger units equipped with an Atom module, restarts the Atom module.
