Create Reverse Lines through Black Moth Monitor

Prerequisite

Vehicle and Camera Measurements form filled out - attached.

Configure Cameras

Installer Login

Begin by pressing on this ‘ Settings’ icon in the top right corner. 

If this icon does not appear then the system requires an update. Contact Support.
You’ll then be prompted for a password, type in  2012   and press  ‘OK’


You’ll now see the  Main Menu.

Vehicle Length and Width

Begin by pressing ‘Basic Properties’.

Enter 'Length' and 'Width' of the vehicle here, the other settings can be ignored.

The other camera measurements that you took will be used later on.



Press ‘NEXT’ to proceed to Camera Assignment.

Camera Assignment

Use the drop-down box under each window to assign the correct view to each camera.


If there are only 4 cameras installed ignore the blank entry.

Click ‘NEXT’ when you’re happy with the assignment.

Camera Rotation

Click on the green ‘Rotate’ button under each window to rotate the camera 90 degrees.


If a camera refuses to rotate contact Support.

Click ‘Done’ when you’ve confirmed they’re all upright.

Reverse Lines

Place Reverse Cones

From the ‘Main Menu’ press ‘Reversing Camera’


At the end of this setup you will preview the reverse lines, ensure cones are setup.


Press ‘NEXT’.

Rear Camera Setup

From the measurements enter:
Height’ = Metres from the ground to the middle of the rear camera lens.
Offset’ = Metres from the centre of the vehicle.
Pitch’ = '-10' with wedge fitted, or '0' if it's fitted flat. 
Diff’ = '0'
Yaw’ = '180'


Make sure all fields are filled in or the reverse lines won't appear.
Press  ‘NEXT’

Review Reverse Lines

You should now see a preview of the reverse lines.

Verify the lines correspond with the cones you set up.

If all is correct, press all boxes to tick them and then press ‘CONFIRM’.


If the lines do not look accurate at this stage please contact support, they can be adjusted manually.  
The is a known bug where the reverse lines image not appear, if so press 'BACK', confirm all fields are filled in and using metres as the unit of measure.
