Universe - Resource Groups
We've made Resource group allocation available for all items in Universe so you can define your own hierarchy of groups - be it offices, teams, depots, sites etc
Create New Resource Group
From the menu bar of Universe select 'Admin' and then select 'Resource Groups' and you'll be taken to a new window.
From here you'll see the current structure of your groups.
To add a new Resource Group click on the 'Create a new Resource Group' button at the top.
To define a structure to your groups you can add a group under an existing group or a 'Parent Resource Group'.
Use the drop down box to choose.
Click 'Save Changes' when you're satisfied.
Update Resource Group
If you're wanting to move an item from one resource group to another it's a simple as using the 'Resource Group' dropdown box to select another option.
For example, let's say you wanted to move an 'Installation' to another group.
Go to 'Admin' > 'Installations'.
Find the Installation you'd like to update (use the search function to narrow it down) and click on the edit (
) button to expand.
Under 'Resource Group' use the drop-down box to select the existing Resource Group you'd like to use instead.
Click 'Save Changes' when you're satisfied.
