FAQ

SSD didn't come with a mount, how do I install it?

If the SSD does not come pre-installed with a mount you will have to use the current installed one.
Remove the screws and ensure the SSD is fitted in the same orientation as the original, ignore the branding as a reference.
It will be slightly offset with the contacts facing away from the mount.

Do I need to use the rubber washes?

If you've had to use the existing SSD mount, then yes, that mount is an older style and they help to reduce vibration.

One of the screws no longer fits?

This is okay, leave it out, don't try to force it. 1 screw short won't hurt the security of the SSD.
